10 Simple Gardening Tips and Tricks

Here are some of the most useful gardening tips and tricks.

1.Mix equal parts of white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water in a spray bottle and spray the mixture to the pot. Take a plastic brush and scrub gently. Wait for a few minutes and allow it to dry before planting anything. This technique is quite useful in removing salt deposits formed on clay pots.

2.One of the major problems is the dirt that accumulates under your fingernails while working in the garden. To get rid of this, draw your fingernails across a bar of soap. This will seal the undersides of your nails and dirt won’t collect beneath nails. After finishing gardening, remove the soap with the help of a nailbrush.

3.Spray some vegetable oilon your string trimmer and it won’t jam or break while you work in the garden.

4.Don’t have a measuring stick? Do it yourself! Take a long-handled tool and write inch and foot marks on it with a permanent marker. This will be of great help in measuring the distance between your plants.
